I am a bankruptcy attorney licensed to practice law in Wyoming. I specialize in helping Wyoming businesses and individuals facing serious financial challenges. My goal is to provide the highest quality bankruptcy legal representation for a reasonable, affordable fee.
I graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in History in 1980. I graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1984. I was on the Land and Water Law Review and authored "Increased Antitrust Exposure for Wyoming Cities and Towns: The Municipal Action Exemption to the Antitrust Laws."
After graduating from the UW College of Law, I was an associate with an experienced bankruptcy practitioner for a little over 2 and a half years. I practiced primarily in the consumer bankruptcy area.
In 1988, I joined the US Trustee's Office as a staff attorney. The United States Trustee's Office is a federal agency within the Department of Justice. The US Trustee's Office is responsible for the administration of all bankruptcy cases in Wyoming. In 1996, I was promoted and became the Assistant U.S. Trustee for the District of Wyoming. While working at the US Trustee's Office, I obtained significant experience in all chapters of bankruptcy.
In 1999, I left the US Trustee's Office and opened my office in Cheyenne. I enjoy helping people find sound and
creative solutions to their financial challenges.
I am Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification. For information about certification, please visit the ABC website at http://www.abcworld.org. I am also a member of the American Bar Association.
I recently served on the faculty for four seminars entitled "Fundamentals of Bankruptcy Law and Procedure in Wyoming" (National Business Insitute-4/25/2002-8/25/2003), "Basic Bankruptcy Law and Practice" (Sterling Education Services-5/31/01), "Basic Bankruptcy" (Sterling Education Services-5/25/04) and "Aligning Your Practice with the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005" (National Business Institute-10/19/05).
Be sure to check out my Helpful Links page. It provides some addresses for very useful sites related to bankruptcy, credit issues, and other law related sites in Wyoming. These links are located on the left side of the screen. If you do not see them, please click here if you wish to try again.

The Wyoming State Bar does not certify any lawyer as an expert, anyone considering a lawyer should independently investigate the lawyer's credentials and ability and not rely on advertisements or self proclaimed expertise.
