I am a bankruptcy attorney licensed to practice law in Wyoming. I specialize in helping Wyoming businesses and individuals facing serious financial challenges. My goal is to provide the highest quality bankruptcy legal representation for a reasonable, affordable fee.
I graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in History in 1980. I graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 1984. I was on the Land and Water Law Review and authored "Increased Antitrust Exposure for Wyoming Cities and Towns: The Municipal Action Exemption to the Antitrust Laws."
After graduating from the UW College of Law, I was an associate with an experienced bankruptcy practitioner for over two and a half years. My primary practice was in consumer bankruptcy.
In 1988, I joined the US Trustee's Office as a staff attorney. The United States Trustee's Office is a federal agency within the Department of Justice. The U.S. Trustee's Office is responsible for the administration of all bankruptcy cases in Wyoming. In 1996, I was promoted and became the Assistant U.S. Trustee for the District of Wyoming. While working at the US Trustee's Office, I obtained significant experience in all chapters of bankruptcy.
In 1999, I left the US Trustee's Office and opened my office in Cheyenne. I enjoy helping people find sound and creative solutions to their financial challenges.
I am Board Certified in Consumer Bankruptcy by the American Board of Certification. For information about certification, please visit the ABC website at http://www.abcworld.org. I am also a member of the American Bar Association.
